Judge Calls Chris Brown Crazy Then Sentences Him To 131 More Days In Jail
Chris Brown admitted to the judge he violated his 2009 probation by punching a guy in the face last year in Washington, DC when the guy and his buddy photobombed Chris’s picture with two females. The unsympathetic judge ordered Chris to one year behind bars for violating his probation, giving him credit for 234 days, thus leaving the singer with 131 more days in jail.
The judge said Chris Brown was diagnosed with mental health issues and needs to remain on his meds as well as meet with a psychiatrist at least twice a week. In addition, Chris will need to complete 700 hours of community service at the rate of three days per week when he’s released from prison.
Although, the judge imposed the sentence of 131 days, Brown’s lawyer doesn’t believe he’ll serve that much time. In fact, he thinks Breezy will be home no later than one week. When CNN asked about Brwn’s release after the hearing, Geragos said ,
“I would expect that Chris should be out of jail before the weekend’s up or before Monday. If he isn’t out by Monday, then I would expect he’s getting special treatment. He’s got over 230 days credit on a 365 (day sentence) and generally the sheriff is releasing on a lot less than that.”
His lawyer makes a good point, because usually a person only does 25% of their sentence or in some states at most 75% before being released. We’ll just have to wait and see, but either way, Breezy will be home soon. Hopefully, he returns with his mind right and ready to make great music once again. Stay strong, my dude.
